OpenNMS On the Horizon – New Year, New OOH
In the last few weeks we did very little, as The OpenNMS Group is officially on holiday from Christmas to the New Year. However, a few small changes made it in before everyone disappeared for a while.
In the last few weeks we did very little, as The OpenNMS Group is officially on holiday from Christmas to the New Year. However, a few small changes made it in before everyone disappeared for a while.
In the last week we continued to work on bug fixing and improvements related to Nephron and flows, Minion, packaging and configuration, and the web UI.
In the last week we worked on Elasticsearch indexing, malformed SNMP, CircleCI, documentation, OpenBMP migration, Nephron, Minion configuration, flow aggregation, and Helm.
In the last week we did more bug fixing, continued the work of moving remote poller funcitonality to the Minion, OpenConfig support, Meridian 2020 prep, and more. Also, the presentations for Dev-Jam 2020 are now live.
In the last week we wrapped up some stuff for the releases, improved more documentation, continued to refactor the remote poller, made some RPC and Karaf improvements, and more.
In the last week we did a lot of plumbing work in Provisiond, Telemetryd, and topology, as well as more documentation improvements, a Prometheus collector, and a Graphite telemetry adapter.

Release 2018.1.17 is a small update to 2018.1.16 that fixes another security issue that affects most current OpenNMS releases. Hat tip to Johannes Moritz for reporting this.
