OpenNMS Users Conference Americas
The first annual OpenNMS Users Conference – Americas (OUCA) is scheduled for the last week in June at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
This event will bring together the OpenNMS user and developer community for three days of education, sharing and community.
The first day is a one day “boot camp” where the main functions of OpenNMS will be covered in a lecture format, although attendees are encouraged to bring laptops and to follow along using a virtual machine image.
The second day follows a standard conference format and several talks have already been approved (see the website). One track will be aimed at developers whereas another will focus on end users, including managers of IT organizations.
The final day follows a barcamp format where the attendees will set the agenda. With the majority of the OpenNMS developers in town for Dev-Jam almost no question should go unanswered.
Registration is now hope, and we hope to see you in June.
